ZetaPole is engineering software for structural pole analysis and design. Running as a Windows 95 / 98 / NT 3.51 (or later versions) application, it is applicable to hollow circular sections in steel, metal or fibre-reinforced plastic, including transmission and lighting poles, pipes, piles and machine parts of similar geometry.

At the analytical core of ZetaPole is a finite element model developed by Dr. Zhimin Lin. The complexity of the method has been made transparent to the user, such that minimal initial familiarity with the modelling technique's theory and background is required.

Within version 1.1 of ZetaPole, linear static analysis, beam-type buckling analysis, P-DELTA analysis, linear dynamic analysis, and ovalization analysis are all supported.

ZetaPole makes extensive use of 3D graphics throughout the analysis and design process. Analytical results are also viewable in tabular form.

ZetaPole promotes a rapid learning curve of finite element modelling concepts, and thus is suitable as a teaching tool for either directed or self study at the college or professional level.

With its combination of user-focussed interface, 3-D graphics, efficiency and accuracy, all within an inexpensive software package, ZetaPole should quickly prove its value in your toolbox.
